Erasmus + Programme 2021/2027
Erasmus + is the European Union's programme in the fields of education, training, youth and sport for the period 2021-2027.
Inclusive, high-quality education and training, as well as informal and non-formal learning, support participants of all ages and enable them to attain the qualifications and competences needed for active participation in democratic society, genuine intercultural understanding and transition to the labour market.
Building on the programme's success in the 2014-2020 period, Erasmus+ increases opportunities for a larger number of participants and for a broader range of organisations. Key themes such as social inclusion, environmental sustainability, the digital transition and the promotion of participation in democratic life by the younger generation are central to the programme. Spending time in another country to study, learn and work should become the norm, as should being able to speak two languages other than one's mother tongue.
For the period 2021/2027, Erasmus+ has a budget of EUR 28.4 billion, which is almost double the amount of the previous programme (2014-2020).
Erasmus+ supports the priorities and activities set by the European Education Area, the Digital Education Action Plan and the European Skills Agenda. Erasmus+ offers opportunities for mobility and cooperation in the fields of:

-Vocational education and training
-Higher education
-Youth
-Adult education
-Sport
-Jean Monnet
